Auburn Sewing Studio. Effective 2026-10-12.

Booking and payment

Classes, workshops and Open Studio sessions booked online are paid in full ahead of time, through a secure checkout run by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach the studio or this website.

You pay the price shown at checkout. The 3-class pack is offered at an introductory price of $279 until January.

Once your payment goes through, Stripe emails you a receipt and Ellen reaches out to set your class dates. For classes offered at more than one time, you choose your class time at checkout.

Discount codes

Friend and guild codes are entered at checkout and come off automatically. One code per order.

Cancellations and credits

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your class or session, your payment becomes a credit toward another class.

To cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, contact the studio by phone, text or email.

What is included

The 3-class pack includes the materials for your first projects, a mini pillow, a mini quilt and an appliqué zipper pouch.

Open Studio sessions are four hours, with the studio machines and tools. The prerequisite is the 3-pack, or enough experience to sew a straight line. Please message Ellen before you drop in.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new effective date. The version posted when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
